The ‘DYNO T20’ is for cricket clubs looking to reinvigorate participation and is open to Kent-based village clubs, and clubs in Division 2 or below in the Kent League.
Its unique rules are aimed at a different demographic of club players, whether that is lapsed players, new to the game players, or using the competition to encourage Under-18s to stay in the game.
Kent Cricket’s Community Director, Andy Griffiths, said: “Kent is blessed to have such a high number of active cricket clubs and this is a fantastic tournament to help get younger players get into, and stay into, cricket at a participatory level.
“The number of clubs entering increases year on year and it gives players an opportunity to participate in a short format of the game and to test their skill level.
“DYNO has been a fantastic sponsor and has helped us once again raise the profile of recreational cricket in Kent.”
